Alteration costs can vary depending on the style of your dress and the complexity of the work required. For example, shortening a simple two-layer dress will typically cost less than altering a full gown with multiple layers and intricate lace detailing.

As a general guide, you can expect to budget between £350 – £650 for standard alterations.

For dress redesigns or more significant size adjustments, please get in touch with your wedding date and photos of your dress. This will allow me to provide a personalised and accurate quote tailored to your needs.

If your dress requires significant alterations, an additional fitting may be necessary. I’ll let you know if that’s the case after your first appointment. Most brides will need two fittings.

You’re welcome to bring guests with you to your fittings. Please note that my studio is small, so only 2–3 people will fit comfortably.

 For your fitting, please bring:

• The shoes you plan to wear on the day

• The bra you’ll be wearing (if applicable)

If a bra isn’t an option but you’d like some support, I have a selection of sew-in bra cups available. If you have a larger bust size, please contact me in advance so I can ensure I have the correct cup size available for your fitting.

Your first alteration appointment will be approximately 3 months before your wedding.
You will need to have your dress and shoes ready, and if you’re on a weight loss journey, you’ll need to be at your goal weight for this first fitting.
